the mission of sachse's church

We believe that each follower of Jesus is commanded to 'Go and Share'. This may sound simple, but it is often confused with a  church wide effort. There are many things that we collectively do (some are listed below) but the basic understanding of mission for the members of Sachse's Church is personal. Each member is encouraged to find a need and meet it or as we often say - Give a glass of cold water and tell them about Jesus.

Missions : here

We believe that mission begins at home. As a church family we have emphasized planting new churches right here in Sachse and surrounding communities just like we would away from home. We have leveraged our existing facilities to host most of these plants, thus allowing more resources to go into the work instead of the facilities.

Below is a list of local church plants we partnered on. All were founded since Summer 2011.

We are also active in local ministries that support Refugees, Food & Clothing provision, post-abortive care, and other humanitarian opportunities.

NEW ORLEANS is an ongoing March mission trip. While in NOLA we serve alongside Cross Culture Community Church as they minister to those living in the Gentilly neighborhood and beyond. Additionally, we work with Church Without Walls as they provide truth, encouragement, and nourishment to the numerous homeless of NOLA.

HURRICANE HARVEY RELIEF is one of our most recent commitments. We serve alongside the Texas Baptist Men as they seek to rebuild and restore the thousands of homes and lives destroyed by the 2017 storm.

KENYA is one of our newest mission locations, with our first trip scheduled for June 2019. We will work alongside a local church and school to minister to the needs of their community.

DENVER is another new partnership launching in July 2019. We will work alongside LivingStone Church as they minister to the people living in the Denver suburb of Broomfield.

Previous trips and projects we have recently worked on and participated in: Honduras; Guatemala; Seattle, WA
