Our Beliefs

There is only one God.

The Father is God. The Son is God. The Holy Spirit is God. The Father is neither the Son nor the Holy Spirit. The Son is neither the Father nor the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is neither the Father nor the Son.

Jesus Christ the eternal Son of God, was born of a virgin and is both fully God and fully human.

The Scriptures are true, authoritative, and sufficient.

Humanity is the special creation of God, made in His own image. He created them male and female as the crowning work of His creation. The gift of gender is thus part of the goodness of God’s creation.

The sacredness of human personality is evident in that God created humanity in His own image, and in that Christ died for humanity; therefore, every person of every race possesses full dignity and is worthy of respect and Christian love.

Sin affects all of humanity (Christ excluded). The deserved penalty for sin is death, both physical and spiritual.

Jesus Christ died as humanity’s substitute to pay the penalty for sin.

Jesus Christ physically rose from the dead and physically ascended into heaven and will one day physically return.

There will be a future physical resurrection of the dead. Those who trust in Jesus Christ alone will be raised to eternal reward. Those who have not trusted in Jesus Christ will be raised to eternal punishment.
